Through our university, college, and industry partnerships we pursue hands-on learning and real-world career opportunities. CEC students begin building their resume the moment they enter our doors. Every student is paired with an Academic and Career Advisor who helps keep them on a path toward their academic or career goals. Properly preparing students also requires a culture that is safe, inclusive, challenging, engaging, and vibrant. Where students are encouraged and supported to question, explore, flourish, and innovate.
CEC offers:
- Academic and Career Exploration—Students can learn about and explore potential career opportunities to pursue the path they want through our 12+ college/university partners statewide and through local businesses.
- Valuable Power Skills—Our students graduate ready for the world with communication skills, leadership, time management, and other power skills to thrive in life and their chosen career.
- Debt-Free Pursuit of Higher Education—We believe that all students should have the opportunity to receive an associate degree or industry certification. At CEC there are no financial barriers standing in your way.
- Part-time Enrichment Opportunities—Homeschoolers and students attending private schools can take advantage of our program on a part-time basis.

Informational meetings are a great way to learn more about CEC Douglas County's amazing educational opportunities, meet with administrators, and ask questions. The meetings will cover the unique offerings of the designated campus, but will also give you an overview of all three campuses: Parker, Inverness, and Castle Rock.
Information sessions are held at the end of the fall semester and continue throughout the spring semester.
